Willis Towers Watson Carrier Plan Data Integration Analyst in South Jordan, Utah

The primary function of the Carrier Plan Data Integration Analyst –

The analyst works with Microsoft Excel and internal systems to update carrier plan data in accordance with data received from carrier partners, specifically carrier partner applications and delivery of carrier partner enrollment files. The Carrier Plan Data Integration Analyst will work closely with internal teams to ensure that recurring issues are resolved through updating file exchange formats and processes. The Analyst will also support other Carrier Data teams during peak seasons. The Carrier Data Analyst will also work with individual carrier account managers to escalate any issues that need attention from a Carrier partner.

The Role

  • Ensurethat internal and external service levels are met in a timely andhigh-quality manner.

  • Maintainaccuracy of enrollment data for existing and new carrier partners.

  • Accuratelymaintain a tracking log of active and unresolved issues for individualcarriers.

  • Workefficiently with multiple internal departments to assure smooth internaloperations.

  • Createand maintain technical specification documents by carrier.

  • Maintainhistorical log of carrier requirements.

  • Resolveescalated issues in a timely manner to promote customer satisfaction.

  • Completeregular reconciliation process to ensure data integrity.

  • Executethorough and objective peer reviews of completed work.

  • Responsiblefor managing assigned queue and completing requests in a timely manner.

  • Concurrentlymanage project work and service desk queue.

  • Otherduties as assigned.

The Requirements

  • Self-motivated,highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented.

  • Excellenttime-management skills with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines in afast-paced environment.

  • Introductoryknowledge of delimited file conventions, other industry standard dataformats, data transmission methodologies, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Interestin advancing technical knowledge.

  • Provenability to develop and improve processes to drive efficiency.

  • Excellentinterpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to others andunderstand their concerns.

  • Positive,proactive attitude.

  • Excellentverbal and written communication skills.

  • Abilityto work well with a team as well as on individually assigned projects.

  • Previousexposure to the insurance industry, specifically the individual planmarket preferred but not required.

  • Understandingof data structures and data integration best practices; SQL and Relational DataModeling not required, but preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalenttechnical/industry experience may be substituted.
