Job Description

Responsible for working in coordination with the Senior Manager/Director of Software Engineering and Product Owner in planning as well coordinating software projects. Ensures that the team members have access to required products, resources to deliver effectively. Responsible for those functions, activities, and skills required for analysis, design, & testing of software modules, subsystems or systems being developed.

Success in the role requires an innovative mind, good people management skills, a proven track record of delivering complex software products, and a passion for creating market-leading software. This position reports to the Senior Manager/Director of Software Engineering for the CAS program, which is a business automation platform.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage team of Business Analysts (up to 15).

Must be able to manage multiple projects utilizing strong planning and organizational skills.

Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business process management (BPM), strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning.

Investigate operational requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed business processes.

Assists in the analysis of the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identifies available options for consideration.

Address customers’ need in coordination with the Product Management and Pre-sales teams in order to offer the most appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • Systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support

  • Excellent business process and/or project experience using MS Office tools such as Visio, MS Project, and any relational database system

  • Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues

  • Technical aptitude and a high degree of self- motivation to train teams on Product functionality

  • Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude

  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships

  • Experience working with APIs preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in business related field

  • Certifications such as Six Sigma or Business Process Management will be nice to have

  • Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on business analyst experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading or managing business analyst team
