The Vice President of Non-Profit Development leads innovative, mission based non-profit developers of affordable housing properties, ranging from permanent supportive housing to Low Income Housing Tax Credits with projects located throughout the Salt Lake area. The Vice President will be responsible for the growth of affordable housing for H.A.M.E. and H.D.C., non-profit subsidiaries of the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City. This position is broadly defined to accommodate every phase of affordable housing development from concept to completion. The job duties include the overall work of professional and administrative direction, planning and management of projects to achieve long and short-term objectives. Responsibilities are carried out with broad latitude and independent judgment. The incumbent must possess strong management and human relations skills, be highly decisive and have the capabilities to make decisions involving policy interpretations and exercise independent judgment. Relocation expenses are accepted. Salt Lake City is an up and coming city with a strong economy.
