Under the direction of the Executive Director or executive leader, the Senior Analyst provides professional analytical support for housing assistance programs within the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC) and its non-profit subsidiaries. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities *Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work, including the ability to apply detailed guidelines to specific individual programs and established policies and procedures. Effectively function in stressful situations. *Maintain knowledge and ability to interpret housing program rules, regulations, requirements, and guidelines. *Proven research and analytical skills, and ability to communicate complex findings to diverse audiences. *Constant ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. *Strong organizational skills. Ability to set priorities, and exercise sound judgment within established guidelines. *Flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving abilities. Make sound and accurate decisions. *Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills, ability to communicate with diverse audiences, and ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, tact and diplomacy. *Ability to think logically, analyze problems, follow systematic procedures, work independently, and develop critical path schedules is required. *Maintain a high level of daily productivity. Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information and issues. *Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software. *Maintain a valid Utah driver's license and insurable with HASLC on a continuing basis. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree with major coursework in business, public administration, real estate, or a related field and progressive experience in the areas of analysis, policy writing, and audits; master's degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
