Celtic Bank Renewable Energy Portfolio Analyst and Administrator in Salt Lake City, Utah

The Portfolio Analyst will conduct administrative duties and portfolio analysis for the Renewable Energy Finance department of Celtic Bank. Administratively, the position will facilitate asset monitoring of solar energy facilities and performance of day-to-day tasks. The position requires excellent internal and external customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic knowledge of finance. Objective/Summary

The Portfolio Analyst and Administrator is responsible for maintaining and analyzing performance records for Renewable Energy projects across multiple platforms, verifying, processing, and recording expenses and deposits, and for preparing monthly management reports of the same. This role administers the day to day functions of servicing the projects including the management of project lockbox and reserve accounts, and if necessary, the collection of loans. The Portfolio Analyst will lead the efforts to conduct annual financial reviews for each project and the tracking of loan covenants as directed by management.

Essential Job Functions

  • Portfolio maintenance – reviewing, analyzing, and processing revenue and expense requests.

  • Daily tasks, including maintaining all loan and investment documents organized, and tracking loan covenants.

  • Insuring Loan Servicing and Compliance needs are met in a timely manner.

  • Learn and assist in the process for portfolio analysis and production monitoring.

  • Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.

  • Other Duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.

  • Previous office and/or banking experience.

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Service Cloud, and related computer skills.

  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and work in a collaborative environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to problem solve, anticipate potential issues, and work independently.

  • Outgoing personality to build and maintain relationships with the ability to properly convey information and resolve customer concerns.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
