Under minimal supervision, responsible for day-to-day center operations, pertaining to administrative, ﬁnancial, personnel, and organizational
functions. Provides strategic support and leadership in planning, developing, and implementing new programs to advance the mission and goals of the
Center. Assist in evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures. Recommends changes when necessary and assist in
implementation of new processes. Acts as a catalyst between the
Department and its partners, customers, and staff to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.
-The Manager primarily ensures the Goff Strategic Leadership Center’s day-to-day functions are executed according to agreed timelines and within budget constraints. This may include responsibility for communication channels, programming, relationships with partner organizations and other functions such as:
oManaging Center budget and reconciliation process,
oWorking with Marketing + Communications partners to generate and implement marketing and communications,
oPartnering with Business Career Services to build relationships with employer partners,
oDeveloping alumni engagement strategies with the Eccles Alumni Relations team,
oHiring and supervising student workers to support Center priorities,
oSupporting recruitment and scholarship processes for Center programs, and generally,
oPartnering with Goff SLC team members and others across the institution to plan and execute programming

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of assigned department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department.
Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
