Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager 2 - Business Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected individual will report to the Director of Business Management for the Engineering and Manufacturing Design (EMD) program and will partner with IPT leadership to manage all financial aspects of the IPT support to the program's performance and financial/strategic objectives. The Manager 2 - Business Management will lead a team of business management professionals, as either direct reports or matrixed from other disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leading all aspects of program financial execution objectives.
Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements.
Providing accurate and timely inputs to business systems supporting financial forecasting and profitability determination.
Leading IPT level engagements for Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements.
Leading IPT level proposal activities to include cost and contracts volume interfaces.
Providing insight and support to Subcontract Management Teams managing the supply base.
Overseeing and ensuring quality of financial data delivered to internal and external customers, including variance analysis and forecasts.
Leading IPT support to the development of the GBSD Program Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
Identifying issues and making recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation .

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 5+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function(s).
Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
Experience leading teams to successful outcomes.
Strong experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, etc.).
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.
Experience in establishing a program baseline or significant experience in developing time phased pricing or estimating forecasts.
Understanding of DoD Contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR/DFARS.
Active DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
MBA or a Master's Degree in a Business related field.
Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.
Experience using Deltek COBRA cost management and Oracle Primavera software tools.
Experience supporting large complex proposal activities.
Experience with financial forecasting systems including any or all of the following: TM-1, Hyperion, or COGNOS.
Active Top Secret security clearance.
