CHG Healthcare Senior Compensation & HRIS Analyst in Midvale, Utah

The Sr Compensation/HRIS Analyst will take a lead role representing Talent Management in the implementation of a new HRIS/HCM system. In addition, they will responsible for compensation and data analysis. And will have a comprehensive understanding of the architecture of our HR master data, and the processes that impact that data. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is technically inclined and results oriented. They will be someone who understands how to design and manage master HR data. In addition, this individual will have prior HRIS management and implementation experience. They are innovative, builds strong relationships and are able to understand processes and the downstream impact of those processes. They are someone who will function as a subject matter expert and mentor on the team and display a willingness to coach and develop other team members. They will demonstrate an ability to think outside the box, recommend innovative solutions to complex problems and make decisions that are in the best interest of our people.

HCM/HRIS Responsibilities:

  • Work as a consultant representing the interests of talent management in the implementation of a new HCM and support the design, execution and rollout of a new HCM

  • Build exceptional relationships with leaders, team members and key stakeholders and be seen as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert

  • Have a strong understanding of HR data management and be able to understand how data connects to other systems

  • Identify key pain points in current system and process and make recommendations to the product team on how a new system can solve these pain points

  • Collaborate with product team to understand roadmap and your role to ensure timelines are met

  • Constantly work as a problem solver. Think outside the box to find creative solutions to complex problems.

Compensation Responsibilities:

  • Support the compensation team in analysis and projects

  • Support the business in sales compensation design

  • Actively work to ensure compensation practices are communicated, understood and supported

  • Support the data management of targets, goals and plans

  • Embrace the idea of continuous improvement and make recommendations for how we can streamline processes, and further progress our compensation programs

  • Be seen as the subject matter expert and mentor on a team. Actively work to help grow and develop others on the team and show a willingness to work in a team-oriented way.

  • Support efforts behind data accuracy, integrity and attention to detail

  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Advanced analytical skills and knowledge of Excel

  • Exceptional relationship skills and the ability to connect and articulate concerns up and down the organization

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly understand financial metrics and how they drive the business and sales compensation process

  • Ability to provide large scale analysis, and structure data in an effective and digestible manner

  • Exceptional ability to understand data with an HRIS system and the downstream impact of how data is structured

  • Ability to be flexible, work well with ambiguity and provide out of the box solutions to divisions

  • Comfortable working individually and in a team environment, with an ability to bring positivity and enthusiasm to the team

  • Detail oriented, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work and communicate with various levels of management

  • Experience with salary planning, incentive/bonus program design and market pricing

  • Strong understanding of various compensation practices and pay compliance

Education & Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with compensation analysis and HRIS system and data management

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in designing, building and managing complex compensation programs

  • Expert level Excel skills including the ability to write complex formulas, manipulate large amounts of data and preferably familiarity with building macros

  • Must have prior experience with an HCM implementation

  • Most possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Must be self-directed, creative, organized, detail-oriented and results driven

  • Ability to keep confidentiality when handling sensitive information

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work well both independently and part of a team
