Malouf Sales Analyst in Logan, Utah

Sales Analyst at Malouf collaborates with ecommerce sales manager. Ideal candidates are experienced in B2B and B2C product marketing or have a degree in a related field. Sales analysts are passionate about uncovering data to influence decisions, strategy, and profitability. This position will coordinate with sales managers, analytics, and supply chain teams to focus on forecasting accuracy, sales promotions analysis, and other reporting needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive performance improvements across e-commerce channels and build the foundation for it to scale. This will include building and executing report optimization to enhance productivity, process redesign, new product launches, forecasting models, and sales promotions.

  • Perform analysis and provide actionable insights to align efforts with internal stakeholders to improve current processes with forecasting and sales analysis.

  • Provide key insights for demand planning, sales managers, and marketing directives.

  • Perform deep-dive analysis into specific KPIs to understand the underlying influences and factors of what drives the business.

  • Monitor and Improve processes to manage daily/weekly ecommerce sales data more efficiently.

  • Collaborate with sales managers to discuss initiatives on Walmart.com, Wayfair, and Overstock.com.

  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Assist with co-creating highly visible and extremely important business reporting to senior management.

  • Actively participate in the assortment planning process, partnering with Merchants, Planners, making sure that strategies are supported, and timelines are followed, all within financial parameters of the business.

  • Monitor Regular Price vs. Promotion price sales metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines, highly adaptable and well organized.

  • Strong, detailed knowledge of sales cycles & processes.

  • Ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas and information to sales managers.

  • Strategic thinker that can see the big picture, innovate, and adapt to constant change.

  • Strong Excel skills and the proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence others with data findings.
